Quality control
How we keep cleaning standards consistent
Good cleaning does not come from vague promises. It comes from clear instructions, people understanding the premises and problems being dealt with quickly when they arise. We use the agreed cleaning plan as the basis for checking that the work is being completed properly.
Clear instructions for each premises
Every site is different. The cleaning team needs to know exactly what is expected before the work begins.
- Which areas are included
- Which tasks must be completed
- How often each task is required
- Which areas need extra attention
- When the work can be carried out
- Any access or security instructions
A routine built around the building
We do not use one generic checklist for every customer. An office, activity centre, visitor property and technical workspace all need different routines. The work is organised around how the building is used and the areas that matter most to the client.
Regular oversight
We remain involved in the running of the contract and check that the agreed work is being followed. Particular attention is given to areas where problems are most noticeable.
- Entrances
- Washrooms
- Kitchens
- Floors
- Shared areas
- Meeting rooms
- Customer-facing spaces
Direct feedback from clients
Clients can contact us directly if something has been missed, if an area needs more attention or if the use of the premises changes. Clear feedback helps us correct problems quickly and avoid repeated issues.
Correcting problems
When a problem is reported, we establish what happened and arrange for it to be corrected. Where necessary, we also update the cleaning instructions so the same issue is less likely to happen again.
Reviewing the cleaning arrangement
A cleaning plan may need to change as your premises or business changes. We discuss these changes with you and agree any effect on the work or price before altering the contract.
- Staff numbers increase
- New rooms are opened
- Working hours change
- Bookings or visitor numbers increase
- Additional tasks are required
- Certain areas need more or less frequent cleaning
Clear responsibility
Because the business is owner-led, clients know who is responsible for organising the work and who to contact when something needs attention.
